Kenny Orellana

Kenny is a distinguished designer with over nineteen years of architectural and building experience across the UK. His work is noted for its exceptional ability to optimise housing in unconventional locations while enhancing the natural environment.

Kenny studied Architecture and Urbanism at UPC University and Ricardo Palma University from 1999 to 2006. Notable accolades include the Second Prize at the 1st Architecture Ideas Competition for Students of Architecture at the IV Bienal Ibero-americana of Architecture (2004), the Second Prize at the 1st Advanced Architecture Contest by the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalunya (2006). Additionally, Kenny was shortlisted at the Corus Undergraduate Architects Awards (2006) and the competition to extend the ‘School of Architects of Cordoba’ (2007).

Kenny boasts a versatile portfolio that includes private residences, mixed-use developments, sacred commissions, hotels, and bespoke furniture. His design philosophy is rooted in innovation and sustainability, reflecting a deep commitment to enriching lives through architecture.

Currently, Kenny is advancing his expertise by studying to become a Passiv Haus Consultant. This pursuit not only reinforces his dedication to sustainable practices but also positions him as a forward-thinking designer capable of delivering high-quality, environmentally conscious designs.
